WE MOVE's mission is to facilitate the communication of emerging clinical advances and therapeutic approaches to the management and treatment of movement disorders. Through its award-winning, HON-compliant Web site and as an accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME), WE MOVE strives to meet the educational needs of healthcare providers.

WE MOVE is accredited by the ACCME to provide CME for physicians. These learning activities are planned and produced in accordance with the essential areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). WE MOVE CME activities are created by recognized thought leaders in the movement disorder community; these courses are provided free of charge to physician learners. The educational information presented in these activities is intended to assist physicians in understanding the diagnostic challenges and varied management options for patients with a movement disorder. Before prescribing any medication, the physician should review the complete prescribing information, including indications, contraindications, precautions, warnings, and adverse events.

Case-based Learning (CBL)

WE MOVE Case-based Learning (CBL) modules are structured around a case study authored by a recognized leader in the movement disorders field. The design of the WE MOVE CBL module is unique. Physicians may choose their own path through the data, allowing for a personalized educational experience. Icons for each section of the case remain visible throughout – allowing the physician to revisit topics while easily navigating among the many aspects of the case. A dynamic content monitor sensitive to the physician's position in the module is always open. This presents learners with an array of valuable tools and information specifically related to the cases they are viewing.

WE MOVE CBL modules create an environment that allows for participative learning within a self-paced, private learning space, which encourages physicians to employ a problem-solving approach, walking step-by-step through the case history, family history and symptomatology. WE MOVE CBL illustrates the diagnostic processes utilized by thought leaders, an invaluable experience for physicians looking to expand their ability to diagnose and treat movement disorders. Each case highlights treatment of particular aspects of the disorder or the efficacy of a specific treatment regimen at different stages of disorder progression – further enriching the physician's educational experience.

WE MOVE CBL modules are located within the internet's most comprehensive source of medical information regarding movement disorders, (www.mdvu.org), creating an unrivaled learning environment for physician education in the movement disorder realm. WE MOVE CBL modules are available to physicians at no charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
