A 10-year retrospective audit of long-term apomorphine use in Parkinson’s disease HL Tyne, J Parsons, A Sinnott, S Fox, MJ Steiger, NA Fletcher P207;S75 A retrospective chart review was conducted of 107 patients receiving apomorphine. Mean disease duration at treatment onset was 10.2 years. Approximately two thirds of patients used both intermittent injection and infusion via pump, with most patients beginning on injection alone for approximately 21 months. Mean duration for injection administration was 48 months, and for infusion was 26 months. 2. A tolerability study of intranasal apomorphine powder (5 mg) in subjects with Parkinson’s disease and motor fluctuations over a 7-day period: A phase two study M Wickremaratchi, S Hadjikoutis, P Lambert, S Freear, K Wareham, R Weiser P302;S103 Five PD patients with motor complications received 5 mg intranasal apomorphine twice daily for 7 days. Treatment induced an on response in a mean of 25 minutes, with a duration of 54 minutes.
