THE MOVEMENT DISORDER VIRTUAL UNIVERSITY (MDVU) OPENS ITS DOORS AT HTTP://WWW.MDVU.ORG

WE MOVE is excited to announce the launch of its newest Web site. The Movement Disorders Virtual University or MDVU, which opened its doors on July 23rd 2003, provides a unique educational experience for physicians and other healthcare professionals.

How is MDVU.org different from WE MOVE.org? MDVU houses ONLY PHYSICIAN AND PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION AND ACTIVITIES. In fact, mdvu.org is the only Web site dedicated solely to professional education in movement disorders and related conditions. MDVU's enhanced navigational tools enable users to move quickly and easily through the site to locate specific areas of interest. We invite you to take a virtual walk through the university's corridors where you may explore the wealth of information about movement disorders written for a professional audience.

At mdvu.org you may:
• Earn continuing medical education credits through a variety of educational experiences.
• View or download a teaching slide set with footnoted slide-by-slide narratives.
• Work through an interactive case study that includes treatment algorithms and digitized pre- and post-treatment videos.
• Participate in community activities such as chats, video rooms, and discussion forums.
• Pose questions to your peers about diagnosis, treatment and day-to-day patient management issues at the MDVU Virtual Think Tank, a secure, password-protected environment.
• Visit the MDVU Library for current disease-specific information; the searchable E-MOVE archives; abstracts of meeting reports such as AAN and Toxins; dosing tables with anatomical drawings; office tools including rating scales, evaluation and injection records, and anatomical drawings; comprehensive drug information and PIs; and linkage to additional sources of reliable information.

Whatever your area of interest in movement disorders—from pediatric to adult, from diagnosis to clinical management—you will find what you need at the MDVU http://www.mdvu.org. Please join us and discover a wealth of timely information about movement disorders that is at your fingertips. Come participate in the MDVU experience!
