Subject: Announcement: PDTrials.org Date: 1/12/2005 WE MOVE wants you to know about the launch of www.PDTrials.org, a comprehensive resource for finding and understanding clinical trials in Parkinson’s disease.PDTrials.org is co-sponsored by WE MOVE, American Parkinson’s Disease Association, Michael J. Fox Foundation, National Institutes of Health, National Parkinson’s Foundation, the Parkinson Alliance, Parkinson’s Action Network, and the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation. PDtrials.org is part of the Advancing Parkinson’s Therapies Campaign, a dedicated effort to accelerate the development of new treatments for Parkinson’s disease. A major effort of the campaign will be to increase participation of the Parkinson’s community in clinical trials through a national public awareness campaign. WE MOVE and the other sponsors of the APT Campaign urge patients to be come involved in clinical trials, and urge clinical investigators to include their trials in the PDtrials.org database.
