The Use of COMT Inhibitors Audioconference Playback Available
WE MOVE is pleased to offer the playback of the recent audioconference, "Off-time Management in PD: The Use of COMT Inhibitors." This one-hour program features Dr. Stewart Factor discussing COMT inhibitors in PD, focusing on the rationale, clinical evidence, and practical information in the use of these agents for reducing off time. The playback also features a Q&A session with audience members at the end.
To hear the audioconference, go to http://www.mdvu.org/library/disease/pd/par_otm.html
The playback will start automatically, so be sure to have your speakers on. Controls on the playback console that appears on the screen can be used to stop, rewind, and fast-forward the recording, and to adjust the volume.
You are also invited to download both the syllabus for the course, and the transcript of the talk, both of which are available from the playback page. The syllabus presents a more detailed look at the clinical trials and pharmacologic profiles of both tolcapone and entacapone, and includes data and diagrams discussed in the audioconference.
The audioconference, syllabus, and transcript were made possible by an unrestricted educational grant from Valeant Pharmaceuticals.
