Various scales and scoring sheets are in use to assist in assessing patients with various forms of dystonia. These include the Toronto Western Spasmodic Torticollis Rating Scale (TWSTRS) for cervical dystonia; Global Dystonia Rating Scale (GDS); Unified Dystonia Rating Scale (UDRS); Fahn-Marsden Rating Scale; and others.
